3D Printing & Sustainability

Technological applications are always evolving. 3D printing is no exception. If you are looking to lower your carbon footprint, if you have a passion for the novel, or if you are simply interested in 3D printing, this post is for you. A team from Italy has created a macro-scaled 3D printer that can build houses out of the most plentiful and mundane of materials…mud. Yes, mud. In fact, this large machine prints houses that are as artistic as they are basic. Though these homes are basic, they offer affordability and sustainability while lowering one’s carbon footprint. Check out this amazing video that shows how homes can be 3D printed from mud.
